Colour Theory Class Lesson 3

The 3rd lesson to the colour theory lesson, was to sort colour combinations into 4 groups;
1) Warm Colours and Cool Colours

2) Light, medium and dark colours

3) Graduation colours

4) Intensity - light and dark

I stitched these 3 Marigold like flowers in 3 ways. Warm colours, Cool colours, Warm and Cool colours combined.

The colour wheel has been divided into 2 sections, the wavy line shows the cool and warm colours, the other section showing the complementary colour and its complement colour.

Note: I spelt comlementary with an "I" on the colour wheel. I do know the difference - LOL.
